As we've mentioned (At least to those of you whom we get to mention things to), for the upcoming iOS 14 updates (happening in "early Spring") we are going to have to rank the pixel events. Unfortunately, as FB has rolled this feature out for set-up, we've discovered that we don't have the ability to set your events for you since we don't own the ads accounts/domains.
Below I have listed step-by-step instructions on how to set-up your event hierarchy, and have also included a suggested order for your events.
Since we don't have an exact date of when the iOS14 updates will be released, we highly suggest getting this set-up before the end of March to be safe. If you don't have this set-up when the new iOS gets released, all of your campaigns are going to be paused by FB until you define your events!
YES... THIS IS A REALLY BIG DEAL!
Instructions:
1. Go to your FB ads manager (business.facebook.com)
2. Click the 9 dot grid on the left, and choose Events Manager

3. Scroll down and click on Aggregated Event Measurement
4. Click Configure Events
5. Find Your Domain

6. It may prompt you to first verify your domain - click that button and follow the instructions provided
7. Once your domain is verified, after you click Configure Events, you'll see this screen. First click add event, then choose your pixel (or custom conversion), and finally choose the event name (Purchase, Add To Cart, etc)

Our suggested hierarchy for eCommerce brands:
1. Purchase (highest priority)
2. Add To Cart
3. View Content
4. Page View
